and so it was.
this year has been pretty eventful, in terms of people. i guess i've met a lot of new people, and i've gotten to know a lot of people heaps better, while i think i've managed to lose one or two along the way...
i guess that i've learnt who i can really rely on, when the going gets tough, and through everything i've learnt a little bit more about myself as well.
i'm so grateful for everything that's happened this year, even though at the time it was a little emo-making.
i think the highlight of the year has been actually making that one decision that i've been thinking about for sooo long. and i think that's... one huge step for me. i guess it's still that little bit scary... but it's there.
thank you to everyone who's played a part in my year, good or bad, high or low, sweet or sour, happy or sad... it's been one enjoyable ride.
and here's to 2007: changes. leavings. new beginnings.
i guess we'll see, eh?

| it's kind of been a while since i've posted here at xanga. besides the fact that i'm so anti-xanga, and i love my spaces more, and my geocities is on it's way to getting back up...
recent occurrences? check out photos, i suppose. here and... yeah. not much else.
eco back today and i'm satisfied.

the year has been... good. crazy up and down kind of feeling, but all in all, there's nothing that i really have to complain about...
in the meantime, merry christmas and a happy new year to all of you (because i probably won't update between now and after new year's... lol.)

| the holidays have flown swiftly by, and as more people slowly hop aboard this xanga bandwagon, i feel a little bit obliged to make a post at least summing up the various activities thorughout my holidays. pictures? maybe. we'll see. (see the lighter grey bits, yes, they're the links! lol.)
1. church camp was awesome. =) quieter, less people, but still awesome as always. definitely feeling it... =) but made me think about a lot of things... where i'm going to be this time next year... *shrug* trivia night was hilarious as always... but in some moments i missed people... =(
2. prison break and one tree hill and veronica mars have been nice to watch. thanks to pya and marton. =) <insert rant about various tv shows. lol.>
3. lots of bumming and doing nothing, but hey, there's no problem there. =) lol. i love it, dad loves it, what's not to love about sitting around the house wasting away, watching queer eye? =) hehehe.
4. set up a new lj which was fun. =)
5. stayed at pya's over the middle weekend while my parents went to
canberra and that was fun. even though she was half dead. lol. and then
worked on the sunday. which was amusing. and boring. but yeah. and then my parents came back and got me a new phone! =)
6. leading edge conference on the monday and tuesday. great to refresh my memory on some of the topics from the beginning of the year, whilst also getting to hang with harshi and duffy for a bit. =)
7. playlist #1:i'll be (edwin mccain), barely breathing (acoustic) (duncan sheik), motorcycle drive by (third eye blind)
playlist #2: it's you (ryan cabrera), again i go unnoticed (dashboard confessional), dare you to move (switchfoot), hands down (acoustic) (dashboard confessional), on the way down (acoustic) (ryan cabrera)
8. hot summer weather, gelato and a day out with pya and spark. (i really didn't see many people this holidays, other than pya and harshi and duffy... lol.) but yeah, twas a fun day at the park, despite the intense heat. lol.
9. read some... ender's game (orson scott card), the ruling class (francine pascal) and invisible monsters (chuck palahniuk). the most of read in aaages. but yeah, felt satisfying. =)
10. a day with natty and i cut my hair! also went to see step up with the awesomely hot channing tatum, and also the awesomely hot dancing. =)
oh yeah, and eco? um... lol. yeah, i did some... just a bit. not a lot. but oh well. going back to school will get me working a bit more. that's the plan anyway. and so i ended up spending most of my holidays as holidays, and i can't complain right? =)
and there was the emo stuff. but most of that's cleared up now i guess. *shrug* who knows. but, i'm gonna stop thinking about things. it ends up landing me in too much trouble.
